The maximum security prison of San Martín, province of Buenos Aires, is not only the headquarters of the oldest rugby team, but also where the Fundación Espartanos integration model operates.
There we implement the programs that we seek to replicate in all units in the country and abroad that are inspired by the “Spartan Model.” The purpose of the work we carry out is to transform the people who make it up through personal and family support, physical care through sports, educational training in Spartan values and the improvement of the prison's building structure.
Today the model complex has 3 synthetic turf fields, 2 multi-purpose classrooms, 1 computer room, 1 auditorium and 2 gymnasiums.
