At the 2024 Olympic Sports Gala and Centenary Awards, Las Espartanas were recognized with the “Social Action in Sport” award, an achievement that celebrates their immense contribution to the path of second chances.

Since 2016, this team has become a family where sport is a powerful tool that allows women deprived of their freedom to rewrite their stories with hope and dignity. Many of them, upon reintegrating into society, become present mothers, responsible workers and positive role models in their communities.

We would like to thank all the people who have helped this team grow, especially Carolina Dunn, Sofia Olmos and all the volunteers, companies and donors who believe in the power of change.
