Gaby Márquez: «Espartanos changed my life. Second chances are worth it."
Gabriel was born in a marginalized neighborhood, into a family with few resources, not only materially. Soon he was constantly exposed to crime and drugs.
The first time he was arrested, he was only 12 years old. He was sent to a Juvenile Institution for having robbed a business with his older sister. At the age of 18 he was sentenced to 8 years in prison for a new robbery, but his sentence was combined with another crime that he had committed years before. In total, there were 10 years in prison.
In unit 48 of the San Martín Prison, he meets the Spartans and joins the rugby team. He was captain for 5 years, where he performed an excellent captaincy and made many teammates join the team. He learned values that transformed his life forever. Today free, he lives with his partner and his daughter. Works at Pampa Energía
